Corporacion Uniland traces its roots to 1973 when Cementos y Cales Freixa and Cementos Fradera combined to form Cementos Uniland. Dukane Precast makes precast and prestressed concrete building components including flat panels, structural and decorative columns, spandrels, and beams in a variety of finishes. Its wall system division makes precast concrete floor and wall panels for residential and commercial construction. Dukane's products are touted as being energy efficient and weather-proof, with its walls being able to sustain tornado-force winds. Dukane also operates a delivery fleet and offers engineering design and erection services. Customers include DeVry, Carson Pirie Scott, and Medieval Times.

Dyckerhoff is cementing relations throughout Europe and the US. The construction materials company makes and sells cement (accounting for more than 85% of sales) mainly in Western and Central Europe. It also sells ready-mixed concrete and concrete products. Dyckerhoff has operations in about a dozen European countries as well as in the US, including subsidiaries such as Dyckerhoff Beton in Poland, Duena and Beton Union in Germany, and Ciments Luxembourgeois in Luxembourg. Germany and Western Europe account for about half of Dyckerhoff's sales. In addition to the founding Dyckerhoff family, the company's shareholders include Buzzi Unicem, which controls about 98% voting shares.
