Founded in 1995, Impac Mortgage Holdings, Inc.’s (IMH) primary business has been its long term investment operations, investing primarily in non-conforming residential loans, and to a lesser extent, small balance commercial and multifamily loans. Until August 2007, IMH subsidiaries specialized in residential and multifamily loan origination, in addition to warehouse operations. In an effort to be pro-active and adapt to current market conditions, we have modified our business strategy to help support the needs of today’s challenging lending environment. Our business is now primarily focused on providing real estate services and asset management solutions to the mortgage industry.

Lendmark Financial Services was organized in 1996 in the basement of Liberty Mortgage Corporation in Atlanta. We became part of the BB&T family when our parent company, First Liberty Bank, merged during the summer of 2000 with Branch Banking and Trust Company in Winston-Salem. Lendmark Financial Services original mission was to meet the personal and mortgage lending needs of clients in the state of Georgia who could not be served by traditional bank products. The company’s founders are among the current executive staff at Lendmark, Bobby Aiken – President and CEO and Joe H. Burgamy – Senior Vice President of Branch Operations.Almost from the beginning, it was clear that we had developed a plan that would prove to be a winner. MCAN Mortgage invests in residential and commercial mortgages, residential construction, real estate, income and royalty trusts. It has a 22% stake in MCAP, a mortgage, construction loan, and equipment financing company that has about $30 billion in assets under management. Most of the mortgages that MCAN invests in are originated and serviced by MCAP. MCAP's operations include construction loans for thrid-party investors in Canada. MCAP's leasing division offers lease financing for office equipment including communications, medical/dental equipment, and restaurant equipment.
