It also provides international asset financing, leasing, debt factoring, foreign exchange facilities, interest and exchange rate hedging instruments, executor and trustee services, life assurance/pension/investment fund management, fund administration and custodial services, telephone and online banking, and financial advisory services, including mergers and acquisitions, and underwriting. As of March 31, 2009, the company operated in Ireland through 248 full time branches and 1,292 ATMs. The Governor and Company of the Bank of Ireland was founded in 1783 and is headquartered in Dublin, Ireland.
