The acute medical center includes emergency, cardiology, neurology, orthopedics, respiratory, urology, cancer care, and women's health divisions, as well as radiology and diagnostic imaging facilities. In addition, Virginia Hospital Center provides outpatient rehabilitation services and runs an urgent care clinic that furnishes primary care for minor emergencies. The hospital, which first opened its doors in 1944, is a teaching facility for the Georgetown University School of Medicine.

Virtua Health is one of the largest providers of health care services in southern New Jersey. The nonprofit system consists of four acute-care hospitals (serving the communities of Berlin, Marlton, Mt. Holly, and Voorhees), as well as several outpatient surgery centers, rehabilitation and long-term care facilities, and specialty clinics. It also has a home care service and mobile intensive care units. Specialties include pediatrics, cardiology, orthopedics, cancer treatment, and women's health care. Virtua Health has about 1,800 physicians on staff and a total of about 1,050 beds.

Virtua Memorial Hospital of Burlington County contributes its healthy virtues to the Virtua Health system. The hospital provides acute care to patients in southern New Jersey and the Philadelphia metropolitan area. The hospital has more than 430 beds and is well-known for its women's and children's health services. Other specialty programs include a sleep center, cardiac rehabilitation, diabetes treatment, and wound care. The hospital is also home to the Fox Chase Virtua Health Cancer center, and it operates an in-hospital hospice center for terminally ill patients through a partnership with Samaritan Hospice.

Wabash County Hospital is a small community hospital with 25 beds and offers patients a range of services including cancer treatment; cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation; critical and acute care; and general, laparoscopic, and orthopedic surgery. The facility also provides hospice and home health care programs, occupational health services, and emergency medicine.
