University of Michigan Health System (UMHS). Nationally recognized as one of the top health care organizations in the country and part of The University of Michigan, the health system includes the university's medical school and three hospitals -- University Hospital, C.S. Mott Children's Hospital, and Women's Hospital -- with more than 930 licensed beds. Other members of UMHS include 30 primary community and specialty health centers, the U-M School of Nursing, the A. Alfred Taubman Health Care Center, and its outpatient clinics. The health care system has affiliations with other hospitals and health care networks in southeastern Michigan.
