Lawrence & Memorial Hospital
Lawrence & Memorial Hospital connects Connecticut residents with health care, no matter if they're near the Rhode Island border or enjoying the Connecticut River. The not-for-profit hospital, founded in 1912, provides services to a ten-town region on the Connecticut shoreline and neighboring areas in the Northeast. Lawrence & Memorial has 280 beds and provides general acute care, including medical, surgical, rehabilitative, pediatric, psychiatric, and obstetrical services. Its facilities boast a cardiac catheterization lab, a cancer center, a sleep disorder unit, and a neonatal ICU. The hospital also runs a handful of community physician practices and specialty clinics.
