The rural acute care facility is the result of the integration of Duluth Clinic International Falls and Falls Memorial Hospital. The not-for-profit hospital, which is designated a Critical Access Hospital, provides general medical and surgical care and emergency services to the International Falls community in northern Michigan. The 25-bed facility provides chemotherapy, maternity care, radiology, pharmacy, and laboratory services, among other things. It also offers specialty and primary care (in areas such as ophthalmology, pediatrics, physical therapy, and orthopedics) through the former Duluth clinic.
