KishHealth System takes care of the welfare of people all along the "Kish." Formerly Kishwaukee Health System, KishHealth System operates two community hospitals -- Kishwaukee and Valley West, which have a combined 125 staffed beds -- as well as several cancer centers, imaging facilities, and an eye institute that serve Dekalb County and surrounding areas in northern Illinois. Specialty services include cardiology, emergency care, neurosurgery, obstetrics, and orthopedics. The community-owned health system takes its name from Kishwaukee (a Potowatomi word for "river of the sycamore").

KK Women's and Children's Hospital (KKH) lives by the credo "women and children first." It is Singapore's largest women and children's hospital with specialists in obstetrics, menopause, surgery, reproductive medicine, sports medicine, mental wellness, and neonatology. It also offers allied health and nursing services ranging from rehabilitation and nutrition to social work and support counseling. The hospital treats more than 500,000 women and children per year. With roots going back to 1858, KKH was established as a free maternity hospital in 1924 and within a few years was home to half of all deliveries in Singapore.

Kosciusko Community Hospital, which has just over 70 beds, provides 24-hour emergency care and general health care services to the residents of Kosciusko County in northern Indiana. The hospital, led by CEO Steve Miller, is part of the Lutheran Health Network.

Kuakini Medical Center, a 250-bed acute care hospital that provides specialty services including cancer treatment, cardiac care, and orthopedic surgery. The hospital serves as a teaching center for the University of Hawaii's John A. Burns School of Medicine. Kuakini Health System also operates the 234-bed Kuakini Geriatric Care facility, which offers nursing home and adult day care for Honolulu's senior citizens. The system also maintains two medical office buildings. The Kuakini Health System was founded by Japanese immigrants in 1900. It is a member of the Premier group purchasing alliance.

Lafayette General Medical Center provides general inpatient medical and surgical care, as well as highly specialized services such as trauma care and neonatal intensive care. The not-for-profit hospital, which has about 300 beds, also offers home health services, outpatient care, occupational medicine, and mental health care. Lafayette General is a member of group purchasing organization Premier and has affiliations with two small community hospitals -- St. Martin Hospital in St. Martin Parish and Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital in Vermilion Parish -- to which it provides management services.
