Jewish Hospital & St. Mary's HealthCare (JHSMH) operates a regional network of more than 70 health care facilities with some 1,900 beds in Kentucky and southern Indiana. Its network includes hospitals, assisted living and nursing home services, and home health care, as well as rehabilitation, primary care, occupational health, and emergency services facilities. The network's primary facilities are the Jewish Hospital in Louisville with more than 440 beds, the Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital with 330 beds, and Our Lady of Peace, a 415-bed psychiatric hospital. Jewish Hospital HealthCare Services (JHHS) and CARITAS Health Services merged to form JHSMH in 2005.
