Jewish Hospital & St. Mary's HealthCare (JHSMH) operates a regional network of more than 70 health care facilities with some 1,900 beds in Kentucky and southern Indiana. Its network includes hospitals, assisted living and nursing home services, and home health care, as well as rehabilitation, primary care, occupational health, and emergency services facilities. John C. Lincoln takes care of the health of John Q. Public. The not-for-profit John C. Lincoln Health Network serves the northern Phoenix area and includes two hospitals: John C. Lincoln Deer Valley Hospital, with more than 200 beds, and John C. Lincoln North Mountain Hospital, with roughly 260 beds. The system also features a children's care facility, various physician and dental clinics, a food bank, and assisted living facilities for the elderly all operating under the Desert Mission moniker. The John C. Lincoln Health Foundation is the fundraising arm of the organization. John C. Lincoln Health Network has a staff of about 1,100 physicians.

John Muir Health provides health care to residents in the San Francisco Bay area. The not-for-profit system operates three hospitals, outpatient and urgent care centers, a physician practice organization, and several community health foundations. The John Muir Medical Center Walnut Creek Campus has about 325 beds and specializes in providing services such as neurological, orthopedic, and obstetrics care. The system's Concord Campus, which has some 260 beds, specializes in providing cardiac and cancer care. The John Muir Behavioral Health Center is a 70-bed psychiatric hospital. It also provides labortory testing through its MuirLab division, and it offers home health, rehabilitation, and wellness programs.

John T. Mather envisioned a legacy that would keep his community of Port Jefferson in good health. John T. Mather Memorial Hospital came to fruition in 1929, one year after it's namesake's death. The not-for-profit hospital has some 250 beds and provides a variety of health care services to the residents of Port Jefferson and Suffolk county. Services include emergency care, occupational therapy, psychiatry, and radiology. The hospital is a member of Long Island Health Network, an association of about a dozen affiliated hospitals all serving Long Island.
