Ohio Valley Medical Center is not located in Ohio, but it is in a valley. The Wheeling, West Virginia-based medical provider administers a variety of acute care, primary care, and other health services to patients through a 225-bed hospital. The facility, established in 1890, specializes in intermediate care, physical rehabilitation, and skilled nursing. Other services include cardiology, emergency care, gynecology, neurology, oncology, and psychiatry, as well as home health care. Shore Memorial Hospital is affiliated with The University of Pennsylvania Health System and The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
