Good Samaritan Hospital
Established in 1908 with 25 beds, Good Samaritan was Indiana's first county hospital. Good Samaritan Hospital provides a full slate of health care services to southwest Indiana and southeast Illinois. Services include cardiology, emergency care, orthopedics, women's health, and pediatrics. The 230-bed hospital is located a few blocks from the Wabash River that forms the border between the Hoosier and Prairies States. It operates specialty units including same day surgery, breast care, behavioral health, radiology, sleep, cancer care, and rehabilitation centers. It also provides home health and hospice services.
