Covenant Ministries of Benevolence
Covenant Ministries of Benevolence has made a pact to provide health care to the residents of the Windy City. The not-for-profit organization operates two hospitals, a medical fitness center, and more than a dozen retirement communities. It runs the Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock, California, and the Swedish Covenant Hospital in Chicago; its Galter LifeCenter medical fitness center is also in Chicago. With campuses nationwide, its retirement communities offer assisted living facilities, health care, and social activities, among other services. The organization's Children's Home of Cromwell offers a residential treatment center for children ages nine to 18.
