Children's Health Care was founded in 1924. Children's Health Care (better known as Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota) is one of the largest pediatric health organizations in the US, with two full-service hospital campuses in Minneapolis and St. Paul, as well as a number of specialty clinics in the region. It also operates about 20 health care facilities, including the Aflac Cancer Center, and employs about 1,600 physicians with more than 30 specialties. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta is known for its pediatric services in cardiology, oncology, neonatal, orthopedics, rehabilitation, organ transplant, and general surgery.
