Aardman Animations is the studio that created the film Chicken Run (in partnership with DreamWorks) and the BBC animated series Wallace and Gromit. Its Arclight Television group is devoted to TV distribution while Darclight handles genre films (thrillers, horror, action) and Easternlight covers Asian cinema. Arclight Films is also active in producing and co-producing, with a theatrical production branch in Australia. The company, founded in 2002 by managing director Gary Hamilton and chairman Victor Syrmis, has offices in Hong Kong, London, Los Angeles, Melbourne, New York, Sydney, and Toronto.
