Brehm Communications, Inc.

The corporate headquarters of Brehm Communications, Inc. is located in San Diego, California. Executive personnel of BCI include W. J. Brehm, Chairman of the Board; Bill Brehm Jr., President; Mona Brehm, Corporate and Profit Sharing Secretary; Tom Taylor, Vice President and General Manager, and Jeff Johnson, Controller.The company has had a long and continuous history in the newspaper industry, having been founded in November of 1919 with the purchase of the Fort Madison (Iowa) Evening Democrat by W. J. (Bill) McGiffin, who passed away in 1955. This original newspaper remains a part of the company today.

At present, there are more than 60 daily, weekly, semiweekly newspapers, shoppers and niche publications located in the states of California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Iowa, Illinois and Indiana. Offices are maintained in over 30 communities, with seven of those having rotary offset printing presses with process color capability.This growth, in large part, has been due to the effort and loyalty of our employees, who enjoy their work and believe in their product. It is also a reflection of the Brehm family's philosophy that we are in a people industry--dedicated not only to those we serve but also to those who perform the service.
