Leicester City Football Club PLC

Leicester City owns and operates the Leicester City Football Club (Leicester City F.C.), popularly known as the Foxes. The club was founded in 1884 as Leicester Fosse and reformed as Leicester City FC in 1919. The Foxes are currently battling in the Football League Championship, the league immediately below the Premiership. Leicester City plays its home matches at the 33,000 capacity Walkers Stadium. The team's home uniform consists of royal blue shirts with white shorts. Leicester moved into the newly built Walkers Stadium at the beginning of the 2002-2003 season.
