Ternium Mexico S.A. de C.V.
Ternium Mexico provides steel to all points between the Rio Grande and the Guatemalan border. Ternium company, the Mexican unit of Luxembourg-based steel concern Ternium, makes hot- and cold-rolled steel, galvanized steel, and operates steel processing service centers. It also owns iron mining company Las Encinas and 50% of another miner, Pena Colorada. Domestic sales make up a great majority of the company's sales, and Ternium Mexico accounts for about 20% of all steel products sold in the country. Ternium company came into its current form when the families that controlled the former Grupo Imsa sold out to Ternium, whose steel operations span the Americas, in 2007.
