Spider Resources Inc. is an active, Tier 2, junior exploration company listed on the TSE-X. At its inception in 1992, Spider was focused exclusively on the exploration for, and the discovery of diamonds in Ontario, but has since broadened its focus to include other commodities. Spider’s tenacity and exploration savvy resulted in the discoveries of 3 diamond bearing kimberlite pipes on the McFayden property, 5 diamond bearing kimberlite pipes on the Kyle properties, diamonds in lamprophyre dykes on the Wawa property, 2 VMS copper-zinc deposits on the McFaulds property, and the Big Daddy chromite deposit.Spider, one of the first companies to explore in the James Bay Lowlands of northern Ontario, was the spark that ignited the Ring of Fire. At present, Spider’s main focus is the development of the Big Daddy’s chromite deposit. Spider is now positioned to enter the next evolutionary phase of its corporate growth and create value through the breadth of its interests.

Strateco Resources is hoping its strategy will help it find uranium ore in the Great White North. Strateco Resources company is exploring for uranium at seven properties in northern Quebec. (Canada is the world's top producer of uranium.) Strateco Resources' most promising site, Matoush, has indicated resources of almost 4,000 pounds and inferred (total possible) resources of 13,000 lbs. One other site, Quenonisca, is being explored for zinc, lead, silver, and copper. Quenonisca is a joint venture with the Quebecois government-owned SOQUEM. None of Strateco Resources' properties are in production.

Sunrise Resources plc was formed to acquire the diamond exploration interests of Tertiary Minerals plc in 2005. Since then Sunrise Resources Company has made a number of new kimberlite discoveries in Finland and expanded its portfolio of diamond exploration interests in Finland. Sunrise has also joined forces with BHP Billiton to exploit the BHP Billiton diamond exploration database for Finland. Past mining of high value filler grade barite and more recent drilling has indicated the potential for a modest scale mining operating that could, in time, produce a valuable cash flow for the Company. Most recently Sunrise Resources Company announced promising results from initial metallurgical testwork and product testing and further work is planned.Most recently Sunrise Resources Company secured an option agreement for the Long Lake Gold-Nickel-Copper-PGM project20km south-west of the City of Sudbury, Ontario (Canada). The Long Lake Gold Mine produced 57,000 ounces of gold from over 200,000 tonnes of ore mined in the periods 1910-1916 and 1932-1939 and has considerable untested gold potential. The claims also cover potential extensions to the currently producing Copper Cliff dyke system at the heart of the World’s most productive nickel-copper mining complex.The acquisition of the Long lake project completes an important stage in the strategic development of the Company’s project portfolio.
