Peter's Food Service manufactures chilled and frozen food, including meat pies, pasties, sandwiches, and sausages. Peter's Food Service company distributes products under its flagship Peter's and Peter's Premier brands to grocery stores and other retail outlets. It also supplies chilled food products to the foodservice industry. Mike Grimwood, a former Northern Foods executive, led a buyout of Peter's Food Service company from John Griffiths and his family in 2007.
