Watermill Express was founded in 1984 by a couple in Brighton, Colorado who were unsatisfied with their local municipal drinking water, which had been declared unsafe for pregnant women and infants.

Welch Foods produces Welch's juices and jellies as the operating subsidiary of the 1,200-member National Grape Cooperative Association. Its offerings include refrigerated juices and cocktails, frozen and shelf-stable concentrates, sparkling juice and single-serve juice products. Welch's produces fresh grapes, as well as jams, jellies, and preserves. Its products are sold under the Welch's and BAMA labels. The co-op licenses the Welch's name to other manufactures for use in products such as frozen fruit confections, dried fruit, fruit snacks, and carbonated beverages. It sells its more than 400 products to food and beverage retailers and foodservice operators in the US and 35 other countries and territories.

Wet Planet Beverages touts its flagship soda as an alternative to coffee that contains twice the caffeine as the big-name brands made by Coca-Cola and Pepsi. As if twice the caffeine contained in a can of Coke wasn't enough, the company added taurine, guarana, ginsing and B vitamins to Jolt. Marketed heavily to college students, Jolt's most lucrative markets are in the US, Australia, Japan, and Germany. WPB also manufactures Napa Valley natural sodas and for the adult crowd, it offers Thornwood Estates and Autumn Frost wines. Launched in 1985 under the banner "All the sugar, twice the caffeine," Jolt was a pioneer in energy drinks.

White Cloud Coffee, produces specialty coffees for both retail and wholesale accounts. The Idaho-based company makes and sells dark roast, variously flavored, espresso, and decaffeinated coffees. Individuals can order White Cloud coffees through the company's Web site. Its CoffeeConnect program rewards customers for referring the company to friends and family. White Cloud was founded by company CEO, Jerome Eberharter.

Whittard operates 135 coffee and tea retail shops in Great Britain and 30 more worldwide. The company also distributes its products to businesses throughout the world, including in the US, Japan, and Australia. Whittard, which was founded some 120 years ago in London, sells more than 60 varieties of tea and some 20 types of Arabica coffee. Its other products include hot chocolate, and tea brewing equipment, china and ceramics, and espresso brewing machines. Whittard was a unit of Iceland-based Baugur. With the collapse of Baugur in 2009, its assets were sold off and Wittard was acquired by London-based EPIC Private Equity.
