Sun-Rype Products Ltd

Sun-Rype grew out of the fresh fruit business in the lush Okanagan Valley. In 1946, the BC Fruit Growers Association, who had already been in the apple business for over 50 years, created BC Fruit Processing Ltd. to produce and sell a pure 100% apple juice, made with apples straight from the orchard. They named their new juice "Sun-Rype," and that is how it all started.

This 100% pure, wholesome juice quickly became popular with Western Canadian families — and in the initial years a variety of other products were also manufactured, including apple sauce, dehydrated apples and pie filling.

Since those days, Sun-Rype has come a long way. We expanded our line of 100% juices to include a wide range of delicious fruits. We also added our popular and convenient fruit snacks to the Sun-Rype family. And in the past few years we took one of Western Canada's best known and loved brands and expanded across Canada to share Sun-Rype goodness with families everywhere! Since 2008, we are proudly offering our 100% Fruit Snacks across the United States.
