The Prince's Trust
The Prince's Trust gives the royal treatment to the thousands of disadvantaged young people who seek its help each year. The charity, founded by Prince Charles in 1976, has assisted more than half a million people, ages 14 to 30, since its inception. The Prince's Trust offers programs, such as personal development courses and low-interest loans, that help at-risk or unemployed young people gain job skills, become engaged in community improvement activities, and even open their own small businesses. The Prince's Trust regularly attracts the hip and famous to its cause; its annual fundraising concerts in London's Hyde Park feature A-list performers such as Christina Aguilera and Lenny Kravitz.
