National Catastrophe Adjusters Inc. company (NCA) provides catastrophic (flood, hurricane, wind, hail) and daily claims assessors as well as property inspectors to insurance companies nationwide. It also offers inspection software, and has a training center for claims professionals. NCA deploys its people to disaster areas within 24 hours; the company has special satellite-equipped vehicles that allow workers to process claims in areas without power or communications. After Hurricane Katrina struck the US Gulf Coast in 2005, it processed more than 250,000 claims. NCA, which was formed in 1984, has offices in Indiana and Florida.
