Baltimore City Community College
Baltimore City Community College (BCCC) offers more some 60 associate's degrees and certificate programs in allied health, nursing, human services, information technology, and business. It also offers continuing education including high school equivalency, adult literacy, and ESL programs.
BCCC enrolls more than 19,000 credit and noncredit students. The college has two primary campuses and more than 80 off-campus learning sites throughout Baltimore. Among the school's notable alumni are Maryland State Senator Joan Carter Conway and former NAACP president Kweisi Mfume. BCCC was founded to provide services for returning WWII veterans in 1947.
