Petroceltic is an independent upstream oil and gas exploration and production company with headquarters in Dublin, Ireland. Petroceltic International plc explores for and produces oil and gas in North Africa, the Mediterranean, and offshore Ireland. Petrolifera Petroleum Limited Argentine-based operations, which constitute the company's largest source of revenue, include a 100% stake in the Puesto Morales/Rinconada Concession in the Neuquen Basin. In 2007, Petrolifera produced an average of 8,000 bbl/d (barrels per day) of crude oil and more than 2,100 mcf/d (thousand cubic feet per day) of natural gas. Through subsidiary Peyto Exploration, it focuses on the Sundance and Smoky/Kakwa areas and has proved reserves of 124.3 million barrels of oil equivalent. It also operates gas plants and more than 200 miles of gas gathering pipeline.
