Loeb Electric was founded in 1912 by Oscar Avery and Arthur Loeb (grandfather to president Charles Loeb) as The Avery and Loeb Company. The Loeb Electric Company distributes specialty lighting and electrical supplies to commercial and retail customers in the US through seven branch locations in Ohio. Products include ballasts, batteries, conduits, fasteners, lighting, raceways, smoke detectors, transformers, and wire. The company carries products made by General Electric, Leviton Manufacturing, Littelfuse, and Thomas & Betts, among many other manufacturers.
