A manufacturing company established in January 1971 with the object of supplying electrical tube light fittings suitable for domestic and industrial applications ranging from 20W to 80W. The manufacturing activity commenced at No. 99, Mount Road, Chennai - 2 (heart of the City) on a plot of 3500 Sq.ft area and thereafter gradually expanded and the present area occupied is 7000 Sq.ft.

The Group's principal activity is to manufacture and sell electrical products including building circuit protection equipment, industrial switchgears, cables and wires, energy meters, fans, CFLs and lighting fixtures. The Group operates in four segments: Cable and Wires, Switchgears and Electrical Consumer Durables and Others. The Cable and Wire segment offers a range of low and high voltage PVC and XLPE cables, besides, domestic FR/FRLS wires, Co-Axial TV and Telephone Cables. The Switchgear segment manufactures MCB. The Group also manufactures a range of Industrial Switchgear products including MCCBs, Fuse Switches, Fuses, Changeover Switches, Contractors and Starters. The Electrical Consumer Durables segment manufactures and sells fans, CFLs, lighting fittings and other electrical goods.
