Coffee Day, HDIL, RCom, Reliance Power hit 52-week lows
Shares of Coffee Day Enterprises, Housing Development Infrastructure (HDIL), Reliance Communications (RCom), Reliance Power, Bata India and Jet Airways are among 20 stocks from BSE500 index hitting their respective 52-week lows on the BSE in intra-day trade on Friday.
Titan Company, United Spirits, Wonderla Holiday, Apollo Hospitals, OnMobile Global, Orient Cement, Shoppers Stop and Tata Elxsi are others trading at 52-week lows.
At 12:16 pm, the S&P BSE500 index was down 1.7% or 190 points at 10,731, as compared to 1.2% decline in the S&P BSE Sensex. Since November 9, the BSE500 index dipped 7.8% against 6.4% fall in the benchmark index.
Balaji Telefilms, Endurance Technologies, Hotel Leelaventure, Kamat Hotels (India), Mirza International, Puravankara Projects, Peninsula Land, Nelco and MT Educare are among others hitting their respective 52-week lows on BSE.
Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) and foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) have sold equity shares worth over $1 billion in the past six trading days after the government demonetised Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes.
