Tata Technologies transcends digital space, to set up physical venture
Tata Technologies, an engineering services and IT company, is going beyond the digital and virtual space it operates in and is getting into the real and physical venture.
Tata Technologies expanded its engineering offerings with an R&D centre, Axia – VAVE Centre of Excellence, at the Hinjewadi campus that will enable engineers to move from the virtual design space to real, physical vehicles and vehicle aggregates.
Engineers can now tear down vehicles from cars to trucks to earth moving equipment, study them, compare with the competition to pinpoint areas for design improvement and cost optimization. For Tata Technologies this is a step in the direction of expanding its full vehicle development and machine development programmes for OEMs.
Tata Technologies is currently involved in eight full vehicle development for four different passenger car OEMs. This new addition will help them offer customers end to end product development capabilities.

Ten Indian nationals, living illegally in the US, have been indicted by a federal grand jury in Boston for conspiring to carry out staged armed robberies at convenience stores for the purpose of visa fraud.

India is set to witness a gradual rise in temperatures over the coming days, even as parts of the northeast and eastern regions continue to receive rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and gusty winds, according to the latest weather bulletin.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said maximum temperatures are likely to increase by 6 to 8 degrees Celsius over northwest India between April 11 and 16.
