Bihar Polls: PM Modi hits back, says Nitish & Lalu are fooling people of Bihar

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday addressed his fourth parivartan rally in Bhagalpur in an attempt to boost the Bharatiya Janata Party's chances in the upcoming Bihar polls.

Attacking Nitish Kumar & Lalu Yadav at the rally, Modi said, Those who have ruled the state for 25 years, they must give an account of the work done by them but they are questioning me. Nitish and Lalu are spreading poison of casteism and communalism.

He further added, They (Nitish-Lalu) are fooling people of Bihar. Nitish Kumar is cheating people of the state by announcing package of Rs 2.70 lakh crore.

Stating that there were no talks about taking Bihar state forward in Swabhiman rally, Modi said, The rally that was held a few days back had only one topic of discussion - 'Modi'. All they spoke about was Modi Modi Modi. I thought only NDA youth used to do 'Modi-Modi', but now even even my detractors are talking only about me.

He also added that for the first time in 25 years, Bihar will vote for development.

Ahead of Modi's fourth rally, Nitish Kumar has asked him not to make new promises to Bihar but show moral courage and ensure implementation of all the pledges made till date.

Show moral courage. No new promises please. Outline a credible action plan to deliver on the promises you have made to the people till date, he said in a series of tweets.
