Elon Musk announced on Thursday that Twitter is launching a new feature which will help users who work with long-form video content.
He took to the social media network and said that Twitter Blue subscribers will now be able to upload two-hour-long videos. He said, "Twitter Blue Verified subscribers can now upload 2 hour videos (8GB)!"
This tweet from Musk amassed a lot of reactions from users. Many people appreciated the move while others slammed the announcement. "Twitter is the new Netflix," said a user.
Another person remarked, "For someone like me who uploads a lot of videos this is a big deal! size and time limits have been a big headache historically. Excited to share more on Twitter and depend less on YouTube."
Another user added, "RIP YouTube."
This comes after the billionaire revealed his plans of bringing new features to the platform including adding calls and encrypted messaging.
Ever since Musk has taken over Twitter, he has been making several changes to the social media platform.

State-owned Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) is looking to set up mini-LNG plants to evacuate natural gas from wells located in areas that are not connected with pipelines.
The firm has identified five sites in Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand and Gujarat for setting up mini plants at wellhead that will convert the gas pumped out from under the ground into liquefied natural gas (LNG) by supercooling it to minus 160 degrees celsius.

Reports emerged last week that Saregama is eyeing a majority stake in Dharma Productions. Now Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) is reportedly in discussions to acquire a stake in Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, reported The Economic Times.

As the tensions escalate in West Asia further, at least 41 people were killed, including at least 13 children in Israeli airstrikes in Gaza on Sunday, CNN reported citing the hospitals.
According to officials from the Al Awda and Al Aqsa hospitals, at least 22 people lost their lives in Israeli strikes at Al Mufti school in Gaza's Nuseirat refugee camp.
