Komaki Electric Vehicles on Monday announced the launch of its first battery-powered cruiser motorcycle Ranger and e-scooter Venice in the domestic market priced at Rs 1.68 lakh and Rs 1.15 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively.

The two new vehicle models, which have been launched on the company's website, will be available at all Komaki dealerships from January 26, it said in a release.

India logged 3,06,064 new coronavirus infections taking the total tally of COVID-19 cases to 3,95,43,328, while the active cases climbed to 22,49,335, the highest in 241 days, according to the Union Health Ministry data updated on Monday.

The death toll has climbed to 4,89,848 with 439 fresh fatalities, the data updated at 8 am stated.

The stock of the private insurance firm fell below its previous low of Rs 627 hit on December 20, 2021. At 12:54 pm, it was down 2.2 per cent at Rs 627, as compared to a 2.12 per cent decline in the S&P BSE Sensex at 57,785 points.

The Supreme Court Monday asked the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and the Reliance Infrastructure's subsidiary, Delhi Airport Metro Express Pvt Ltd (DAMEPL) to appear before the Delhi High Court on January 31 and request it to hear the dispute relating to execution of the over Rs 4,600 crore arbitral award to DAMEPL at the earliest.

A bench of Justices L Nageswara Rao and B R Gavai said the hearing on the execution application does not brook any further delay as it is detrimental to the interest of both the parties.

Ola Electric on Monday said it has raised over USD 200 million (about Rs 1,490.5 crore) from Tekne Private Ventures, Alpine Opportunity Fund, Edelweiss and others, valuing the electric vehicle maker at USD 5 billion.
