Suraksha Diagnostics on Wednesday said it will invest ₹200 crore to set up over 20 advanced imaging centres across eastern India.

The plan, which will be executed in collaboration with United Imaging, is aimed at expanding access to advanced diagnostic services in tier 2 and tier 3 cities, enhancing both affordability and healthcare quality in smaller towns and semi-urban regions, it said.

The Bombay High Court has upheld arbitral awards worth over ₹538 crore in favour of the now-defunct Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise, Kochi Tuskers Kerala. Delivering the verdict on Tuesday, Justice RI Chagla rejected BCCI’s plea challenging the arbitral awards, reaffirming the limited scope of judicial intervention under Section 34 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act.

Govt announces annual FASTag pass for ₹3,000, effective August 15

Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari on Wednesday announced the introduction of a FASTag-based Annual Pass.

The pass, which will be priced at ₹3,000, is being introduced to promote hassle-free highway travel and will come into effect starting August 15. Gadkari made the announcement on X. Sharing additional details, he added that the pass will be valid for a year from the date of activation or up to 200 trips, whichever comes first.
