India on Monday morning reopened 32 airports across northern and western parts of the country that were shut in the wake of mounting tension between India and Pakistan. The two countries had on Saturday reached a ceasefire understanding to stop military action.

According to a notice issued by the Airports Authority of India (AAI) to airmen, all 32 airports were now open.

The Indian armed forces have released high-resolution satellite images providing visual proof of strikes carried out under Operation Sindoor on terror infrastructure across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). The images offer before-and-after views of key targets, notably in Muridke and Bahawalpur, and also highlight the damage inflicted on Pakistan’s air defence radars and airfields.

The Indian armed forces successfully downed a few Pakistan planes during 'Operation Sindoor', Air Marshal AK Bharti told the media on Sunday. The Air Marshal also maintained that all Indian pilots were back home.

The Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) of the three armed forces disclosed details of 'Operation Sindoor'.

The Group of Seven (G7) nations on Sunday urged India and Pakistan to exercise maximum restraint and called for immediate de-escalation of their military conflict through dialogue.

The call by the powerful grouping came amid the continuing escalation of the military confrontation between the two nuclear-armed neighbours.
