China on Monday said the “protectionist” trade policy of the US and the “unprecedented” changes in the world order in the past 100 years will be discussed by Chinese President Xi Jinping and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at their two-day summit this week. A day after the big announcement of Modi-Xi’s informal meet in China’s central city Wuhan on April 27-28, Beijing said the outcome of the meeting will be “positive”.

The Gujarat CID on Monday detained Amreli Superintendent of Police (SP) Jagdish Patel to question him regarding his role in the alleged extortion of 200 bitcoins worth 12 crore from a Surat-based builder.

HDFC Bank share price: After India’s leading private lender HDFC Bank reported record profits for Q4, brokerage firm CLSA has raised HDFC Bank share price target. The bank has reported a 20.27% on-year growth in net profit to Rs 4,799.28 crore, driven by stable asset quality.
