Shares of Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) hit a 52-week high of Rs 731, up 4 per cent on the BSE in the early morning trade on Tuesday on the expectation of a strong business outlook. In the past one week, the stock has outperformed the market by gaining 14 per cent, as compared to a one per cent rise in the S&P BSE Sensex.
M&M, on November 17, said that the company’s Farm Equipment Sector (FES) will manufacture a new tractor series called the ‘K2’, exclusively at the company’s tractor manufacturing facility at Zaheerabad in Telangana.

Shares of Bharti Infratel surged 9 per cent to Rs 238 on the BSE on Tuesday, rallying 28 per cent in the past three trading days after the company completed merger with Indus Towers to create a mega tower company (renamed Indus Towers). The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 295.75 in December 2019.
According to a regulatory filing, the merger of Bharti Infratel and Indus Towers to create a mega tower company has been completed, and Vodafone Idea has received about Rs 3,760 crore cash for its 11.15 per cent holding in Indus.

Television actor Ashiesh Roy passed away on Tuesday at the age of 55. India on Tuesday successfully test-fired a land-attack version of the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile from the Andaman and Nicobar Islands territory, sources said.
The supersonic cruise missile was test-fired at 10 am on Tuesday and it successfully hit its target, which was on another island, they added.

After weeks of defiance, President Donald Trump on Monday allowed officials to proceed with a transition to President-elect Joe Biden, giving his Democratic rival access to briefings and funding even as he vowed to persist with efforts to fight the election results.

The Cyclone Nivar is expected to make landfall in Tamil Nadu on November 25 (Wednesday), the Regional Meteorological Centre of Chennai said. However, rainfall is expected to start from November 24 in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry and will remain till November 26.
The depression over south-west Bay of Bengal to intensify in the south-east of Chennai, it is very likely to intensify into a cyclonic storm, based on the current conditions it will approach north Tamil Nadu and Puducherry coast and expected to landfall between Karaikal and Mahabalipuram by November 25 afternoon, said Director-General of Regional Meteorological Centre of Chennai, S Balachandran.

Shares of Lakshmi Vilas Bank (LVB) were locked in lower circuit for the fourth straight day after slipping another 10 per cent on Monday to hit a new low of Rs 8.10 on the BSE. The private sector lender's stock was trading below its face value of Rs 10 per share.
