Mumbai: L&T Technology Services Ltd has bagged a multi-million deal from ExxonMobil Exploration Company, which will deliver revenues of $20 million in the first year, the L&T arm said Monday.

The company, a listed subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro Ltd (L&T), will help geoscientists with improved data availability, enhancing the speed and efficiency of analysis and evaluation, it said in a statement.

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) on Thursday said its construction arm has won orders worth Rs 33.76 billion across business segments.

"L&T Construction's power transmission and distribution business has secured orders worth Rs 12.26 billion on both domestic and international market," the engineering and construction major said in a BSE filing.

The contribution of order inflows from private sector and overseas orders has almost halved for Larsen and Toubro (L&T) over the last few years. However, a sharp uptick in fresh order inflows led by government spending in India, is aiding the heavy engineering major tide over sluggishness.

Engineering major Larsen & Toubro (L&T) on Tuesday said its construction arm has bagged contracts worth Rs 43.53 billion in its power transmission and distribution business in both domestic and international markets.

L&T Construction has bagged an order from Sonelgaz group for the turnkey construction of a 220/60 kV Air Insulated Substation in Draa Errich in Algeria, the company said in a statement issued here.

The first and the largest tender for procuring 10 million prepaid meters, saw 12 bidders submitting interest for participating in the reverse bidding.

However, the leading three large players in the industry – Landis Gyr India, Secure Meters and HPL India have not joined the race, citing regulatory and security concerns.

An arm of Larsen and Toubro Ltd. has landed a contract worth 2,864 crore from Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Ltd. (DFCCIL).

L&T Construction’s Transportation Infrastructure Business has been awarded the contract for Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor.

New Delhi: Larsen & Toubro Ltd (L&T) on Thursday moved the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) seeking ‘higher priority’ in repayment of dues owed by Bhushan Steel Ltd.

Bhushan Steel owes Rs900 crore to L&T for supply of certain capital goods.

The year 2017 saw some significant reforms, the most important being GST. This also caused some disruptions to business. How do you view business activity now and what is your outlook for 2018?

A year after Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for the proposed 210-metre tall statue of Maratha warrior king Shivaji Bhonsle off the Mumbai coast, the construction work for the project has been awarded to Mumbai-based Larsen & Toubro (L&T). According to sources, L&T, which had bid for the project, revised its bid downward from Rs 3,826 crore to Rs 2,500 crore.

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) today said its construction arm has won orders worth Rs 1,266 crore across business segments.

L&T said its buildings and factories business has bagged orders worth Rs 928 crore.
