Fauquier Hospital was founded in 1925. Fauquier Hospital takes care of the populace of rural northern Virginia. The multi-location system provides medical, surgical, outpatient, and home health care services to a four county area. With more than 85 beds, the facility is the only hospital in Fauquier, and also serves Culpeper, Prince William and Rappahannock Counties. Specialized services include emergency medicine, oncology, rehabilitation, and cardiac and pulmonary care. The hospital's emergency room has more than 30 private rooms and services about 30,000 patients each year.
