Inspired by Mama Hanna, who originally created the recipe for Frozen Yogurt in her kitchen back home, our products are made with pride from only the highest quality ingredients. The Hanna brothers - John, Dave, and Jim - founded International Yogurt Company in 1976. Since then it has come to be known as Yocream International, because the company's product line has expanded to include much more than yogurt. Beginning in 1977, the Hanna brothers franchised a chain of specialty restaurants selling their yogurt. Though the franchises did well, they were gradually phased out as the company's focus shifted to foodservice sales. Today the company produces frozen yogurt, smoothies, and sorbet under its flagship brand. It also produces and packages ice cream and organic products.
