What it cannot do is pretend to be something it is not, marketing a story that has no substance behind it. Yeo Valley has twice won The Queen’s Award for Enterprise for Sustainable Development (in 2001 and 2006) in recognition of how we operate. We were very proud to host a visit from Her Majesty The Queen and HRH The Duke of Edinburgh at our Blagdon Dairy in July 2007.

Inspired by Mama Hanna, who originally created the recipe for Frozen Yogurt in her kitchen back home, our products are made with pride from only the highest quality ingredients. The Hanna brothers - John, Dave, and Jim - founded International Yogurt Company in 1976. Since then it has come to be known as Yocream International, because the company's product line has expanded to include much more than yogurt. Beginning in 1977, the Hanna brothers franchised a chain of specialty restaurants selling their yogurt. Though the franchises did well, they were gradually phased out as the company's focus shifted to foodservice sales. Today the company produces frozen yogurt, smoothies, and sorbet under its flagship brand. It also produces and packages ice cream and organic products.
