Digital Network Application Modules, which enhance a
switch/network of switches by supporting applications and
requirements of the telephone network, such as advanced
intelligent network announcements, local number portability,
call completion, current temperature and weather conditions,
TTY conversion, and voice prompts for custom intercept
services; and MAX Terminator, which provides disconnect
detection to eliminate tied-up lines and annoying tones. It
also offers voice recording, technical support, and weather
forecasting services. The companys customers comprise
regional bell operating companies, competitive local
exchange carriers, independent telephone and long distance
companies, wireless carriers, cable companies, utilities,
telecommunications manufacturers, and other businesses and
organizations. It markets its products through distributors
primarily in the United States, Canada, Greenland, Iceland,
Mexico, South America, Central America, China, Europe, and
the Caribbean.
