There's nothing shameful to Vincenzo Zucchi about closing the curtains, hiding under the bedspread, or sweeping something under the rug -- especially if you're using its linens. The company makes and sells household linens, including sheets, bed coverings, towels, rugs, tablecloths, curtains, and upholstery fabrics. It sells products under brand names such as Bassetti, Zucchi, Brio, Clic Clac, Descamps, Granplaisir, Solotuo, and others (including licensed names such as Lacoste and Laura Ashley). Even though they brought in a non-Zucchi as managing director in 2005, the founding Zucchi family still controls the company and owns 51% of its shares; textile company Manifattura Lane G. Marzotto & Figli owns 22%.
