A subsidiary of NewMarket, Ethyl markets its gasoline performance additives and diesel cetane improver (which increases ignition quality in diesel fuel) throughout North America. The firm's distribution network serves its customers from more than 160 sales outlets in 28 states. In 2010 FinishMaster was acquired by auto parts distributor Uni-Select Inc.
