The Mann and Parker Lumber
The Mann and Parker Lumber Company distributes and exports treated hardwood lumber from its stock of Northern Appalachian species. The company also operates the M&P Lumber Company, which kiln-dries green-hardwood lumber in Meadville, Pennsylvania (about 90 miles north of Pittsburgh), primarily for shipment to cabinet and furniture makers on the West Coast. The Mann and Parker Lumber Company was founded in Baltimore in 1902, but relocated to central Pennsylvania (New Freedom) after fire destroyed its operations in 1970. Chairman and CEO Robert Bushman Sr. owns the company.
