American Terrazzo Company, Ltd.
American Terrazzo's handiwork, well, that's really kind of the point. The company installs mural-like terrazzo flooring in public, commercial, and residential facilities. Terrazzo, derived from the word for terraces in Italian, is made from discarded marble remnants or cement and is used in a wide range of applications including sidewalks, plazas, terraces, and stairways. American Terrazzo does most of its business in Texas, primarily in Dallas. The company's handiwork can be found anywhere from homes, schools, and churches to offices, airports, and arenas. Mattia "Mike" Flabiano founded the family-owned firm in 1931.
