White Rose Food is a grocery distributor supplying more than 1,800 supermarkets, independent retailers, and cooperatives in New Jersey, Maryland, and the New York City metropolitan area with an assortment of foods, from dairy to frozen vegetables. In addition to its own White Rose label, the company distributes third-party and national brands. Other services include store planning and financing, group property insurance for businesses, and point-of-sale marketing. The company is a unit of food wholesaler Di Giorgio, which was acquired by food distribution co-op Associated Wholesalers in 2006.
