DnB NOR ASA also owns 51% ownership interest in Bank DnB NORD AS, which offers various banking products to the retail and corporate markets in Denmark, Finland, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, and Poland. The company was founded in 1822 and is headquartered in Oslo, Norway.

DZ BANK is the central institution for some 1,000 local cooperative banks, which serve 30 million customers from a combined 12,000 branch offices across Germany. It provides administrative services for its member banks, which are also the company's owners.
