St. Mary's Health Care System, Inc.

St. Mary's Health Care System cares for the residents of northeast Georgia. Its primary facility, St. Mary's Hospital, has some 200 acute-care beds. From health and wellness programs to women's and children's services, the hospital also has centers dedicated to outpatient rehabilitation, home health, and long-term care. Specialty services include neurology, cardiovascular care, orthopedics, and gastroenterology. The organization is sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas and traces its roots to the founding of St. Mary's Hospital in 1906. St. Mary's Health Care System is a member of the Catholic Health East family of hospitals.
