St. Joseph's Healthcare System, Inc.

St. Joseph's Healthcare System takes care of northern New Jersey. The health care system's facilities include St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center, a tertiary teaching hospital with about 650 beds that includes the 120-bed St. Joseph's Children's Hospital. The regional hospital has a state-designated trauma center and provides specialty services including cardiology, oncology, obstetrics, and neurology. St. Joseph's Healthcare also operates St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital, a community medical center with some 230 beds. Other operations include St. Vincent's Nursing Home, a home health agency, and a network of community clinics. St. Joseph's Healthcare System is sponsored by the Sisters of Charity of Saint Elizabeth.
